Project description
The framework agreement for switch renewal is the first framework contract awarded by Swiss Federal Railways (SBB) in the field of switch renewal. It covers the planning and execution of switch renewal projects across the entire Swiss rail network.
The contract includes the full range of services—from planning and material procurement to early coordination of work intervals with SBB, logistics and transport, as well as execution and commissioning.
Between December 2019 and December 2024, Rhomberg Sersa Rail Group carried out more than 80 track renewal projects within the scope of switch and track renewal under this agreement.
