As part of the project, the existing sheet metal control boxes were dismantled and replaced with new points heating control units housed in concrete control boxes.
In addition, the point equipment, junction boxes and cabling for a total of 56 points were replaced.
Despite three major construction projects taking place simultaneously on site, the renewal of the electrical point heating system was successfully completed on schedule.
