As part of the project, the existing 15 kV/16.7 Hz Electric Switch Heating System, including the traction power switchgear (BSH), outdoor distribution boards, cabling, transformers, junction boxes and Electric Switch Heating elements, was dismantled.
Subsequently, three new Electric Switch Heating stations, constructed as concrete-encased enclosures with meter distribution boards, were erected, and a total of 61 points were connected to the new system.
In addition, the project comprised cable laying, the installation of medium- and low-voltage systems, and the necessary underground cable works.
