Trachenberge Depot: Expansion 2018

As part of the 2009 expansion stage, DVB AG planned the complete reconstruction of the track facilities. The works included the renewal of tracks 12–19, partial renewal of 12 turnouts at the southern exit fan, construction of a new track connection, and the erection of a railport. Additionally, the road surfacing as well as the overhead line, drainage, traction power, telecommunications, turnout control, turnout heating, low-voltage, and lightning protection systems were adapted. Green areas were also created.

• Renewal of 160 m of sleeper track, including associated works
• Renewal of 450 m of grooved rail systems, Slab Track, Rheda City system (DVB AG type), including associated works
• Construction of 12 single turnouts and one double turnout connection (2 EWs), Slab Track Rheda City system (DVB AG type), including associated works
• Conversion of 3 single turnouts in ballast, including associated works
• Dismantling and construction of rail drainage boxes
